School Information

These workshops are a great way to overhaul your short game. You will learn how to take a technically sound approach to playing the ball around the greens with soft hands, a deft touch, and solid strategy. One of the largest benefits, is that you will be able to go home with the tools to become your own instructor. The majority of golf professionals can move a golf ball somewhat successfully from the tee. Your ability to score in this game, however, is dependent on what you can do around the greens and inside 125 yards. Why golfers have such difficulty with delicate shots around the greens and with putting, has remained one of the most mysterious aspects of golf throughout its history. We’re going to share with you, the consequences of having excessive slack in the spine, the effect it has on the short game, and why, in our opinion, it is the unknown “missing-link” for the development of a great short game. One of the most interesting things that has become apparent to us after many years of study, is that short shots and putts, to be executed at their technically best, require a posture that requires us to become structurally aligned in order to connect out body mass.

Short Game Workshop Schedule

10:30 – 11:00 – Introduction to Short Game Principles
11:00 – 12:30 – Removing Slack From Your Short Shots and Putting
12:30 – 1:30 – Lunch
1:30 – 2:30 – Lag Putting and Distance Control
2:30 – 3:30 – Specialty Shots and Side Hill Lies
3:30 – 4:30 – Distance Training and Loft Control With Your Wedges

Class Limited to 4 Players Per Instructor

Seeing energy leaks in someone else helps to repair them in your own swing.
With multiple players you hear things explained in a number of different ways.

5 Hours of Instruction

Gravity Golf drills are difficult by design in order to magnify technical issues to the point where the player can actually feel not only the problem, but the solution.
Our Short Game Workshops provide an in-depth personal experience that exposes any issues in distance control or consistency in ball striking around the greens.
We comprehensively cover every facet of the short game that you are likely to encounter.
Each person will feel how to best manovior themselves around the short game areas in ways that develop sensitivity to accelerating their body and ball with strong intent.

Accommodations

It’s our experience that golfers coming to a “Gravity” Golf school have extremely varied tastes for where they want to stay and what they wish to spend. Therefore, we do not include accommodations in our schools. However we are happy to provide you assistance in finding a place that is just right for you. I just completed a 3-day Gravity Golf school. This was my second school I have attend. It was one of the best... instructor experiences I have experienced. I'm a true believer in the program as one of the best methods for most golfers. Jim the instructor did a fantastic job of handling the accommodations of the course and practice area. He was patient with our progression and offered helpful insight to drills etc. By the end of the program I was much more confident in myself and my swing. The ultimate measuring stick is the results. I was much more consistent with my ball striking and my distance increased with my irons and woods. I would highly recommend attending one of their schools. I have dabbled in many different swing methods with little to no improvement. This one makes a true difference...Gravity Golf you need to fall for it!read more

We did a 4-hour session with Daniel Lee today at Citrus National Golf Course (formerly Southern Woods). His style was... very laid-back and unpretentious, and he had the patience of a saint. The Gravity Golf method of hitting the ball was presented logically and accompanied with some interesting drills. As a lifelong single digit handicapper with a bad back, whose hcp has been unfortunately growing as I am now in my 70’s, I was interested in a swing change that was effective and repeatable but was pain free. Daniel delivered on all counts. I strongly recommend the Gravity Golf method as a “swing for a lifetime” and Daniel as a very effective and personable instructor.read more

Two days getting expert... instructions from Gravity Golf instructor Jim Edgin at his custom built range in Altus, AK. . No BS, I added 30yrds to my drives with little effort.
