Just off the coast of the Gulf in Citrus County, FL, the 18-hole golf course at Citrus National ( Previously Southern Woods Golf Club ) opened for play in 1992. Designed by architect Hale Irwin, the course measures 6,935 yards from the back tees. The club also offers a double-sided driving range, putting green and chipping green.
The facility includes a double-sided driving range, along with dedicated putting and chipping greens, giving instructors and students the ability to focus on fundamentals, short-game development, and full-swing mechanics in one location. These practice areas support a well-rounded Florida golf school experience that emphasizes understanding, repetition, and long-term progress.
