“Gravity” Golf three day golf schools are the most comprehensive way to improve your golf game and ensure that you are practicing in the most beneficial manner, both technically and physiologically. Our schools run from 8:30 until 12:30, with a one hour lunch break, and from 1:30 until 5:00 each day. They are a great blend of practice tee, short game, and on course instruction. We have a 4 to 1 student to teacher ratio and everyone receives more one-on-one attention than they usually want. The schools include two weeks of additional telephone or email follow-up to discuss practice regimens when you return home and answer any procedural questions that may arise when you are once again working on your own. We also offer a wonderful continuing education program that allows you to send video of your swing as it continues to develop and provides opportunity to communicate with your instructor on a regular basis to modify your practice program to new levels as you improve.
Golf Schools For Doctors
Physicians make a career long study of the human body and at “Gravity” Golf we have done the same. These three day schools are designed for doctors only and delve deeply into the study of human anatomy and how motor learning should ideally be accomplished. The brain is an amazingly adaptive mechanism that is capable of “cheating” in many ways, not only in our everyday life, but in the development of our golf swing technique as well. These schools concentrate heavily on preventing the brain from compensating technically inferior mechanics and teach how power should be applied in an ideal physiological manner. If you are a golfing doctor, this school will be right up your alley!
Gravity Golf’s home-base, the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge is the host for our Orlando golf schools. The facility was originally designed as an ideal place to train your golf swing to it’s highest level. With the country’s largest driving range, it is easy to isolate our students to a quiet area where concentration can be at a maximum.
Orange County National has two beautiful courses that showcase Florida’s natural beauty with an abundance of pines, birds, wetlands and lakes. The Panther Lake course is a 7,295 yard layout, par 72. The Crooked Cat course is a 6,927 yard layout, also par 72. Additionally, there is a nine hole practice lab called the “Tooth” that is ideal for on-course golf instruction. The Orange County Golf Center has received awards from Golf Magazine, Zagat, Golfweek and more.
Carmel, New York
Our New York golf schools are showcased at the beautiful Centennial Golf Club in Carmel, about an hour from Manhattan. The countryside at Centennial was described by the course designer, PGA champion Larry Nelson, as “the most naturally suited to golf I have ever seen”. The schools are conducted on the private end of the driving range and the specially designed short game areas featuring many contoured lies for specialty shots.
Centennial offers twenty-seven gorgeous championship golf holes laid out across 340 acres with spectacular mountainside views of the surrounding lakes and forest.
La Quinta, California
Develop the “Gravity” Golf swing technique at our schools hosted by Silver Rock Resort in La Quinta, California just south of Palm Springs. The resort features the beautiful Arnold Palmer Classic Course, home to the Bob Hope Classic from 2008-11. The course is a challenging 7,578 yard layout, sprawling over 200 acres of desert landscape and stunning water features set against the backdrop and natural beauty of the Santa Rosa Mountains. This Arnold Palmer Classic Course has been honored numerous times by Golf Magazine, Golfweek, Greenskeeper.org, and Zagat. Try not to hit one of the many bighorn sheep that come down from the adjacent mountains to feed daily on the lush fairway grasses.
Learn the Gravity Golf swing out west at our golf schools in Kingston, Washington, at the White Horse Golf Club and Casino Resort located on the Kitsap Peninsula. When purchased by the Suquamish Indian Tribe in 2010 the course and facilities underwent a multi million dollar renovation. The course is laid out on a rolling landscape in the midst of a beautiful evergreen forest. The golf schools enjoy a private area on the back of the driving range complete with our own short game area. This is a spectacular venue for working on the development of your golf game.
Join our “Gravity” Golf Schools in Springfield, Ohio at Windy Knoll Golf Club just outside Dayton in the heart of Ohio. Windy Knoll was previously a horse farm and the charm of the past remains intact on the current links-style layout. The golf course plays at 6,820 yards, with a par of 71. The facility recently gained notoriety with their new BW1 hovercraft golf carts. It is a relaxing and fun environment for you to begin mastering the “Gravity” Golf swing method. The golf course at Windy Knoll holds a four-star rating from Golf Digest.
